This NY Sharp is classic cheddar with a little extra attitude. New York-style sharp cheddar is commonly described as bold, tangy, and extra sharp, often with a brighter acidic bite than many other domestic cheddars. It brings that rich, savory cheddar depth you want, but with a cleaner, more assertive finish that keeps every bite lively. Some producers also describe the texture as creamy yet slightly crumbly, especially once it’s been aged for at least 12 months.
The texture is firm, smooth, and sliceable, with just enough density to make it feel substantial on a board or in a sandwich. It’s the kind of cheese that works beautifully as an everyday sharp cheddar, but still has enough bite to stand out in burgers, grilled cheese, mac & cheese, and snack plates. Ingredient lists for New York sharp cheddar are typically straightforward: pasteurized milk, cheese cultures, salt, and enzymes, with some yellow versions also using annatto for color.

We ship UPS anywhere within the USA. We take the quality of our products very seriously and want you to receive the best possible products, therefore we only ship perishable items Monday through Wednesday to allow products to arrive prior to the weekend. If overnight delivery is requested these orders can be completed through Thursday.
